He, a farm boy turned city gym rat, was everything I, a meticulously planned lawyer, wasn't, yet his nervous offer to spot me broke down every wall I’d built. We spent the rest of the evening laughing, sharing our lives, and realizing how little our different backgrounds mattered when our hearts beat in the same rhythm. Now, holding Logan's hand, I laugh at the fear that kept me away, knowing the greatest strength I ever found was in embracing a love I never thought possible.
